I can’t believe it’s been months since I last posted – wow! My last update was on my birthday, and you can check it out here. I won’t go into all the details about why I’ve been away (because let’s be real, it’s not like me), but I’m just grateful to be back and able to share again. Life has definitely been doing its thing, but through it all, I’m giving thanks. I have also been more active on YouTube so please check out my channel and subscribe. It’ll mean a lot BUKOLA OGUNYEMI
Hey loves, it’s finally fall, and you know what that means—time to bring out the layers! I’m sharing my first fall outfit inspo of the season, which was shot in Philly, and I’m so excited to share this look with you all. Let’s dive right into how to style an oversized blazer with camo pants and nude accessories for that perfect balance of edgy and chic. You can also check out other fall looks I have shared on the blog here, here, here , here.
So, I went for this oversized white blazer, which I think is a fall staple. The key with an oversized blazer is that it instantly elevates your look while keeping things relaxed and comfy. I paired mine with some camouflage jogger pants. I love how the camo print adds a bit of street style without being too overpowering. It’s like, just the right amount of “I’m cool but didn’t try too hard,” you know?
Now, for the accessories—I went with a neutral palette, keeping everything simple and clean. Nude heels to elongate the legs, a hat, and a matching handbag to tie the look together. You can’t go wrong with nude accessories in the fall—they’re versatile and soften up the entire outfit without taking away from the statement pieces. I finished off the look with my short hair to give it a sleek and modern edge. Short hair really allows the outfit to stand out, plus it’s just so easy to maintain. It makes the whole vibe feel clean and put-together.
And let’s talk about this photography, though! The shots came out so clean, and the sun on this day was hitting just right! I’m telling you, the crisp autumn air and those neutral tones in the background really make everything pop. So obsessed with these pictures and they were taken by my friend Kain. So, here are some quick tips for styling an oversized blazer this fall:
Balance is key: If you’re going oversized on top, keep the bottom fitted or tailored to avoid drowning in fabric.
Mix in prints: Camo is a fun, unexpected way to bring life into your fall wardrobe. Don’t be afraid to experiment with prints!
Neutral accessories for the win: They pull the look together without competing with your statement pieces.
Confidence is your best accessory: Wear it like you mean it, and you’ll look fabulous!
Let me know how you would style your blazer this season. Do you prefer bold prints or keeping it simple? Can’t wait to hear from you all!
