Good day, darlings! I trust you all are doing fine. It’s been three weeks since I last published here *whew*. You can check out my last post A trip to New York.
In fact, I drafted this blog post late last night because I felt compelled to publish something today. I’ve been quite busy, as I’m sure you all know. This semester was insane! To God be the glory, I’ve completed my third semester of graduate school, which means I only have one semester remaining before your girl graduates in Jesus’ name. Not only did I complete the semester, but I did it with good grades, three A++ and one A. I feel quite proud of myself. I put in a lot of effort, and I’m grateful to God for seeing me through! I’ve been busy since we vacated two weeks ago because I signed up for a summer course and am also doing a Google project management course. This year is all about career advancement for me, and I feel it will be worthwhile. Keep me in your prayers!
Let’s get started with today’s blog post. If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you’re aware that work styles are one of my favorite topics. You can check out of my work-style looks Stylish Monochromatic Outfit, How To Wear All-Black For Work, How To Style A Blazer For Work. For this look, I purchased both pieces with the intention of styling them together. The top’s neckline drew me in. I also like how the knit and organza contrast. I had nothing like that in my closet prior to purchasing it so, it was a great addition. I also bought them from one of my favorite stores ever! Zara.
I’m also a sucker for loose, high-waisted trousers, not only because they’re stylish, but also because they’re easy to style.
Crop tops, sweaters, tank tops, t-shirts, shirts, jackets, and other items can be worn with them.
I knew I wanted to stick to a neutral color scheme for this look, so I chose my nude shoes and black bag. Because this is a work-style outfit, I kept my hair short and kept my accessories minimal.
I knew I needed work-style in my blog post title, but I also wanted something appropriate.
So I asked my friend Oge, and she said it’s giving luxury vintage work-style, which I completely agree with, and also looking at the photos’ edit, they appear great. Also, the editing of the photos makes them look to be from the past. Something retro! Shout-out to Renny Rennysvirtualportfolio for these pictures. I’ve found something else to occupy my time, especially because Instagram has been stressful and uninteresting for me as a content creator. Visit TikTok to see what I’m up to.You would see my fun side. You can also follow me on Instagram. I put in the work and would love to grow.
My next blog post is uncertain. As much as I’d like to publish a post every week, I’m just human, have other things on my plate right now, and I don’t want to put myself under any further stress. I hope this makes sense. Who knows, my obligatory birthday post might be the subject of my next blog post. I haven’t been too enthusiastic about it, which is odd for me, but we’ll see what happens. I’m also trusting God for a lot of things and I am eagerly anticipating all of the testimonies. Please keep me in your prayers. I really need them! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope to see you all again soon.
Cheers!
