COLOR BLOCKING PINK AND RED #WORKSTYLE9

Welcome back to my blog darlings and I hope you all are doing well. So, I finally got my blogging / shooting mojo back.

Good to be back with my favorite series #workstyle. If you know me so well and are not new to my blog, you’ll know how much I love work style. This series gives me the opportunity to be creative and not boring with the looks I put together. Work style doesn’t have to be boring.

For today’s post, we’ll be talking about the PINK AND RED FASHION TREND. This combination was once a fashion faux pas but I must say this duo is on fire. This duo ruled the runway and street style during the fashion weeks in the last two seasons. I remember seeing this combo all over my Instagram explore page and was hoping to style this duo someday.

Finding a perfect way to balance these two hues in one outfit can be very tricky and delicate but is doable.

For workplace, its better to keep this combo simple and clean just like I did. Toned down this look by pairing with black shoes and bag for that sophisticated look.

The perfect opportunity for creating this look came after a Nigerian brand gifted me my pants for my birthday.

I’m glad I finally styled my red cape shirt I got a while back from one of the vendors at my friends online store launch / shopping party. The cape style of the shirt and color got me attracted to it. I really love unique pieces like my shirt.

Since this combination is already a statement one and also for workstyle, I kept it simple by going for short hair which also makes you appreciate the style of shirt and my gold earrings.

This is such a daring but sweet combination and I’m looking forward to styling other daring outfit combinations.
