ANKARA CO-ORD SET

Hello sweeties, I trust you all are doing fine. Guess what guys?? I’m officially done with my One year Medical Internship!! Its been one year full of ups and downs, it broke me, made me and toughened me. The most interesting part of it all was that I gained knowledge, skills, worked with some wonderful people and it showed how strong Bukky is.

Thankful for y’all that followed my one year journey and I promise to share my last two postings experience. There’s so much to say but lets not digress from the main reason for this post and save the internship gist for later.

Lagos Street style Ankara

My love for ankara fabric can not be overemphasized and if you have been following my blog for a while, you must have seen posts in which I styled different ankara pieces. The versatility of the ankara fabric and the varieties to choose from are what gets me. I’ll be styling lots of ankara pieces this year so stay tuned for some inspiration. In the main time, please check out some ankara pieces I styled HEREHEREHEREHEREHERE..

For this look, I made a co-ord set from this ankara fabric. Co-ord sets are also known as twin pieces/ two piece outfits. Two piece outfits are great to have because they can be restyled. For instance, the top of this outfit can be restyled with jeans and the bottom can be restyled with a shirt or crop top.
My blonde wig came out to play just because I didn’t want to look normal and you know what they say? normal is overrated. Lets talk about location. These pictures were shot inside my estate and this cute wooden security post was really helpful making it look like the pictures were framed. I love the color yellow and most importantly because it brightened up the pictures.

Can we just appreciate this cute mini bag?? it’s  so beautiful and the color really attracted me the very first time I set my eyes on it. Thanks to ALLTHINGSCHIC for gifting me this cute piece and my half framed sunglasses in my last post HERE. Finished this look with my tassel earrings one of the trends I loved from last year and one of my favorite sunglasses from NAYSARUDOLF.
