My Year of Covenant of Peace!!
Happy New year beautiful people! I’m grateful to God for the opportunity to actually be alive. I’m grateful to God for family, loved ones and my amazing blog readers who made 2018 a great one and I also believe 2019 is going to be an amazing one. I’m happy because this year has been declared as our year of Covenant of Peace according to Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria. I believe in this theme so much and can’t for all God has in store for me this year.

I have no new year resolution but I know I’ll be intentional about everything I’m doing.
I won’t promise to post every week but I’ll definitely try my best as we all know life can get in the way sometimes. Thanks so much for your love and support last year it means a lot to me and God bless.

Feels so good to be back from my mini break and drafting my first post of the year. It’s all about the Double denim fashion. Double denim also known as denim on denim is one outfit combo I really love  because it’s a perfect way to underline your chicness as a lady. I also really love this combo because it doesn’t require so much effort into dressing up. This fashion trend keeps coming back season after season.

For my own look, I paired two shades of oversized denim and dressed this look up by wearing my nude heels from ZARA which is currently on sale, a face cap which was a gift from my dad, glasses from SMOKIELENS and my Tarah cross body bag from DANIELLE NICOLE which I love so much and is currently sold out. Decided to do oversized double denim look this time because I have styled double denim with distressed pants, skinny denim, different colors, etc.
In this post, I’ll be sharing with you some dos and don’ts when styling double denim.

• Play with colors if you are a total beginner. This means you should start out by pairing different shades of denim together and its a way of playing safe before delving into shades of double-blue.
• Dress up your double denim by wearing heels, accessorizing with hats, bags and statement jewelries or even wear a red lipstick.
• Throw on a solid or patterned tee to attract some of the attention if you aint really sure of your denim pieces which also gives you the opportunity to layer up your outfit.
• Wearing distressed denim lends itself away to the denim-on-denim look so its something you should try while styling denim on denim.
