Hey guys! How are y’all doing? Blog break is finally over yay! I actually drafted this post a while ago but just sharing it now *whew*. If you read my last blog post How to style a double breasted blazer, you’d know why I took a break.
Welcome back to my blog and I’m sure y’all missed me. I missed you guys too.
On the blog today, we are talking about the oversized clothing trend which is also known as the go loose trend. I’m a sucker for oversized clothing and I always manage to infuse such pieces into my wardrobe.
Oversized clothes if worn in the right way can look just as chic and smart as the trendy ones. One thing I also really love about oversized clothing is how comfortable they are. You literally don’t have to worry about things like your food baby after gorging yourself on your favorite meal or dessert.
There are lots of options to choose from like; boyfriend shirts, big sweaters and jackets, slouchy t-shirts, oversized cardigans, joggers, and blazers. Big and long denim vests are a must-have too. They are also really versatile when it comes to styling.
For this look, I’m wearing my favorite oversized piece of clothing which happens to be these pants from H&m, a boyfriend shirt, black pumps, and a hat for that minimal look. With oversized clothes, less is more. It is better to keep accessories to a minimum too. The print of this shirt and the quality attracted me to it. I’ve had it for over four years and this was the first time styling it. I love the pop of color with the yellow wall, the location was perfect and I love my pictures too. Photography was by Zimmani.
