SHADES OF GREEN X GRAFFITI PIER

The color green signifies growth, rebirth and fertility. Green is not a color I love so much but I don’t mind adding the color to my wardrobe. As a matter of fact, the Pantone color of the year is GREENERY. Some of us might be wondering what the Pantone color of the year signifies. It is a symbolic color selection; a color snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood or an attitude. Looking at myself in this outfit makes me have a different feeling about the color and I think the color is a mature one. I also wore a green skirt in my Lancaster photoshoot HERE. After putting this outfit together, I just felt like adding a pop of color somewhere and it had to be my shoes. Having said all that about the outfit, lets move to the story behind the shoot location and all that jazz….

One of the things I really wanted to do in Philadelphia was to take lovely pictures for my blog at amazing locations. The photographers I worked with were nice and they also shared the same vision of amazing locations as me, which made things easy.
After communicating with the photographer by name Kain Black, he mentioned shooting at GRAFFITI PIER and we hooked up the next day. I was blown away by what the location looked like and in my own terms, would refer to it as GRAFFITI HEAVEN. It was so beautiful but it rained that day so the floor was soiled but we managed to make things happen. The graffiti pier is an abandoned and a remote area which means you should use some caution if you’re planning to explore!
Talking about Kain, it was pleasurable working with him and I had a wonderful time not only shooting but getting to know him.

My shoes were sent to me by the good people of AMICLUBWEAR. For my lips, I’m wearing Colourpopcostmetics ultra matte lipstick in AVENUE and also did my makeup myself. Apologies for flooding but I couldn’t help but post all the amazing pictures from the shoot.
