SIMPLE WEDDING GUEST OUTFIT INSPIRATION + A LIFE UPDATE

Happy weekend everyone! How are you guys doing, *whew*? I apologize for being MIA for such a long time. You all know how unpredictable life can be.

On July 11th, I published my last blog post How to wear a cropped blazer trend in 2022. For me, the summer break officially began ending of June. Despite having completed my third semester in May, I enrolled in a summer course in May, and I successfully completed it by the end of June.

I spent the full month of July in Boston before departing for vacation and enjoyment in August in the United Kingdom. You all are aware of how crazy my previous semester was. So, the trip was much needed. I am back in school and classes have started. Guess what? It is my final semester in grad school and we know what that means. Omg! I am very thrilled and eager to see what God has in store for me in this final stretch. I also have faith that I will land the job of my dreams before my program is up. My God can do it. Let me put this out there.. I am an MD who is pursuing her Master’s degree in Public Health, with a certificate in Health Informatics. I am also doing a Project Management certification on the side. I would like to work in a Health or Fem Tech company as a project manager. I am also open to other roles and opportunities in Public Health and Health Tech. So, if you know of possible companies I could apply to or referrals, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

It was enjoyable to take a trip without engaging in any academic activity. I made great memories, saw my sisters, caught up with loved ones, made new friends, and mostly simply ate a lot, lol! I didn’t put any pressure on myself to create blog content; I just tried to be fully present and take each day as it came. I wasn’t stuck in a creative rut or short on ideas; rather, I was mostly concerned with having fun, making memories, and was always on the move, traveling to different cities and going to new places in the UK. I’m not sure whether you people get what I’m saying but I hope you do. Enough of the life update.. Let’s move on to the Outfit!

This outfit was photographed sometime in May with the intention of sharing it as summer wedding guest inspiration. We still have some days till summer is over in this part of the world and it is better late than never right? This dress was made for me by a Nigerian brand, and it is very different in length and style from the other dresses I have in my collection despite wearing off-the-shoulder gowns, but this vibe is different. As a result, I made the decision to style it like a wedding guest, which also helped me choose my accessories. I like the vibrant color of the fabric and the understated elegance of the design.

The red dress and gold sandals give off a sophisticated appearance, as does the color of the clutch. I chose to wear this brown hair color because I wanted something different and because I love how brown hair stands out when paired with a red clothing. The location, in my opinion, was ideal.

Renny scouted the location which was a Garden center named Designs by Lee here in CT. We have come to the end of this blog post and I feel so relieved I published a new post. I don’t want to promise that I will publish consistently but I would absolutely do better. I have already started drafting my next blog post which would be my first this fall.
