Spring Outfit Inspiration | A Day Out In Connecticut

Hello everyone! How’s everyone doing? Welcome to a brand new month! It’s hard to believe how quickly this year is flying by. On a personal note, it’s also my birth month, and I’m truly grateful to be alive and well.

Spring outfit Inspiration

In today’s post, I want to get straight to the point and share some spring outfit inspiration that you can adapt to your own style. I realized that I haven’t been sharing all of my activities here, even though I’ve been quite busy. So, I thought I’d start by sharing a look I wore for a lunch outing with my friend and photographer, Renny. We were invited to a Japanese restaurant in Hartford, the capital of Connecticut, and this was my outfit of the day.

Lately, I’ve been really enjoying styling denim, and I’ve actually shared three different denim looks recently. You can check them out How to style a sweater in Spring Denim X White Outfit Combination | Hello Spring! HOW TO STYLE A PUFFER JACKET || WINTER FASHION. For this particular look, I paired my blue high-waisted denim pants with a beautiful printed blouse that screams spring. It was a bit chilly that day, making denim the perfect choice. I especially love the cowl neck style of the top and its color. I decided to stick with a pink and blue color theme throughout the outfit. The denim pants and shoes are from Zara, while the top was purchased from one of the stores in the UK. To complete the look, I wore my signature afro wig, which I absolutely adore. If this wig were to have a next life, it would probably run away from me because I’m that obsessed with it.

Now that we’ve discussed the outfit, let’s talk about our lunch date at the restaurant. The restaurant is called Koma, and as mentioned earlier, it’s a Japanese establishment located in the capital city of Connecticut. My friend and I have been doing this series where we explore different things, such as restaurants and places in Connecticut. We genuinely love living here, as there’s always so much to do, and the overall vibe in Connecticut is very relaxed. I personally adore Japanese cuisine, so our experience at Koma was a delight. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jason, who was incredibly kind, and we were treated exceptionally well. The hospitality, the food, the drinks, and the aesthetics were all amazing. I’ll definitely cherish our experience at Koma for a long time. Photography RENNYSVIRTUALPORTFOLIO.

And with that, we’ve come to the end of this post. I hope you enjoyed it, and I’ll try my best to put up a new post, possibly by the end of the week. If not, you can definitely expect my obligatory birthday post on the 13th of June. I should start working on that soon, by the way.
