TRANSITIONING INTO FALL | AUTUMN 2023

Hello, everyone! How’s everyone doing? Welcome back to the blog! Exciting news! My blog just celebrated its 9th anniversary on October 3rd. I can hardly believe it! Time has flown by, and I almost forgot to mark this special occasion due to being so occupied with life. Nonetheless, I am incredibly thankful for this online space. My blog has been a constant companion throughout the years, a place where I’ve grown, learned about diligence and consistency, and shared my thoughts and experiences. I can’t believe it’s officially autumn already. This year has flown by so quickly. For those of you who are new here, autumn happens to be my favorite season. However, it’s been a bit frustrating lately because we’ve been experiencing quite a bit of heavy rain. If you’re interested, you can also check out my previous blog posts about autumn.. Some of my favorite things about this season include the weather, the mesmerizing color change, the gentle falling of leaves, and the breathtaking scenery. It’s the time when I can finally start wearing cozy sweaters and bring out my stylish coats, indulging in rusty and dark-colored clothing. However, I must admit that I’m not quite prepared for the cold weather just yet. I enjoyed the warmth of summer a bit too much!

Let’s dive into this look… Autumn is known for its warm color palette, featuring rich greens, vibrant yellows, fiery oranges, and soft peachy pinks with a hint of yellow. It’s a season that celebrates a spectrum of golden browns, from deep chocolate hues to light tans. When transitioning into fall fashion, we often think about incorporating blazers, lightweight jackets, and various layering pieces. In this ensemble, I’ve chosen to don an oversized blazer layered over a delightful pink floral dress, adorned with shades of green that beautifully complement my blazer. I opted for a dark green bag, a perfect choice for embracing the autumn color palette. I decided on open-toe sandals, as the weather was still quite warm toward the end of September last year. It’s a fun fact that these pictures were taken in London, specifically in Canary Wharf. Oh, how I miss London! It’s the perfect time to share these snapshots that have been patiently waiting in my content bank. I have a penchant for gold accessories during autumn; they simply add that extra flair and are just perfect for the season, in my opinion. I tend to gravitate towards gold over silver, which is why my collection leans more towards the golden hues. To complete this look, I styled my braid in a chic bun and added sunglasses to bring everything together. Now that autumn is upon us, it’s time to adapt, embrace reality, and conquer the season with style! Another approach I would consider for styling this look differently would be to pair it with heeled pointed-toe boots.

We’ve reached the end of this post, and I’m itching to share more of my autumn looks from this year with you. I’m eagerly awaiting the leaves to make their graceful descent, as I’d love to capture the true essence of autumn in my photos.
