Hello people! How are we all doing today? It is obvious what today is from the post’s title. If you’re new to the blog, you should know that today is my birthday, which usually calls for a mandatory blog entry in which I give thanks to God, reflect on the year that was, and pray for His blessings in the coming year. You can read some of my previous birthday blog posts… BIRTHDAY GIRL IN NOIR || A YEAR OF GROWTH, DREAMY IN TULLE || BIRTHDAY BLOG POST, A BIRTHDAY BLOG POST || WHITE MONOCHROME OUTFIT. Simply put, let me begin by saying THANK YOU, GOD. I’m grateful for everything, but most of all for the gift of life. Sincerely, I don’t take anything for granted. I won’t lie to you, I was really looking forward to my birthday this year, but as the month drew near, I felt apprehensive instead of excited, and this year hasn’t exactly gone the way I had hoped it would. Last week, I believe I also tweeted that I wouldn’t be sad on my birthday this year in Jesus’ name. I believe that was just a reflection of my thoughts and how I was feeling at the time. Do not misunderstand me. I am extremely grateful for the gift of life, but you know how it is for those of us who are very ambitious and set goals at the beginning of the year but things aren’t looking exactly how you want them to. Nevertheless, I am learning to be grateful and to trust God’s timing in everything. I’ll also take this chance to praise God because I finished graduate school last year, my family is doing well, and he has been providing for us. I’m thankful for all of these things and many more that I can’t mention here. I specifically prayed to God for two things on my birthday this year, and I can’t wait to see the results. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”. (Matthew 7:7). To be completely honest, I am patient. I once read that you would wait differently if you knew and trusted your God’s timing. Although waiting is often unpleasant, things will work out better than we could have ever imagined. As a result, BUKKY will exercise patience, have faith in God, and have faith that all will turn out for the best. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose”. (Romans 8:28). Let’s talk about the birthday look. Fun fact: I didn’t want to wear a suit this year, despite the fact that I adore suits, but when I went to the studio to take my graduation photographs, I shot some images without the graduation gown. I loved how they turned out and said, “Use these ones as the birthday pictures.” Basically, that was killing two birds with one stone. That also helped me save time, money, and energy. Even though pink isn’t a color I usually go toward, when I received this blazer dress for my birthday in 2021, I knew it would be ideal for the studio session. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I should also add that every color is my color.
I completed the outfit by wearing my fringe bob wig from a friend’s brand NATURAL GIRL WIGS which was the ideal choice and enhances the overall appearance. wore silver accessories and black sandals to keep things under control. These pictures are giving what they ought to give and I already see myself using one as my LinkedIn profile picture.I hope you all enjoyed reading today’s blog post, which has now come to a conclusion. Let me know if you love this look/post and say a prayer for me. Thanks for visiting and see y’all in my next blog post. Cheers!
